I studied French, lived in France, and currently speak the pretty language pretty well. Living in the United States, however, doesn’t involve daily exposure to it. Therefore, I should read books written in French. In France, there is a thing called Folio. They publish books, and put numbers on them. I like to collect things, and I have seven of them, ranging from 2 to 3215. I have fully read 2 of them…
#2 L’étranger (The Stranger) by Albert Camus
#37 Le deuxième sexe (The Second Sex) by Simone de Beauvoir
#41 L’envers et l’endroit (The Wrong Side and The Right Side) by Albert Camus
#390 Les fruits d’or (The Golden Fruits) by Nathalie Sarraute
#805 La nausée (Nausea) by Jean-Paul Sartre
#882 Un barrage contre le Pacifique (The Sea Wall) by Marguerite Duras
#3215 L’Océantume (?) by Réjean Ducharme
I’ve read #2 and #882. I liked #882 a lot more.
The end.
